Things I consider when looking for good podcasts:

- Host Voice and Personality

- Interesting, Entertaining, and Informative Content

- Conciseness with Minimal Ads and Irrelevant Topic Deviations

- Reliability and Consistency in Posting New Episodes

- Audio Quality; Sound Levels, Voice Enhancement, and Other Audio Factors

- Effective Use of Pertinent Sound Effects Throughout the Show

- Consistent Episode Length; Preferably Between 45 mins and 1 hr 45 mins

- Exceptional, Appealing, and Consistent Signature Intro Music

- Popularity and Authority; Trustworthiness and "Quotability"

- Appealing Cover Art; Detailed and Well-Formulated Show Notes

- Level of Attempted Interactivity and Engagement with the Audience (Taking Live Calls, Use of Social Media, and Offering Other Services or Programs)

- Existence of a Fan Base and Ability to Interact with Other Listeners of the Show

- The Extent of All of the Above in Comparison to Alternative Shows I Already Listen To
